Gone are the days
Yes gone are those days and gone are those times when finding ways to kill time and exploring options to start new hobbies. It is time of the life where every minute of day is occupied or you have something always to do. Yes this is how full time working parents with two kids are how I think will be. Or atleast how my life is currently. Absolutely not inner soul complaints but we love being like this for our kids and doing things and being busy for them.
We don’t know when Friday evening comes and weekend goes away. I have to talk about my tounger daughter who jus turned 2 couple of months back. She has some inner clock I think where she wakes up at around 7:00 am on any day. It does not matter to her if its a weekend, weekday holiday or not. She has her wake up time and the routines after that. It feels so impossible to wake up on a weekend when you feel like you just slept at 1:00 Am after a movie night 🙄
So to make life easier me and my husband have set our routines to alternate between us to take care of her over weekends. Its his turn on Saturday and mine on Sunday.
